Signage designed, built and installed under one roof
Excel Sign Systems is a regional sign manufacturer in Marren, Ohio. We survey the site, draw the sign, pull the permit, build it in our own shop, and put it up with our own crews — which means one company is answerable for the finished result.
Most of what we build falls into one of two categories. The first is identification: the monument at the entrance, the letters over the door, the panel that tells a driver at forty miles an hour which building this is. The second is wayfinding: the interior systems that get a visitor from the parking deck to the right department without asking anyone for directions. Both have to survive weather, cleaning crews, and a decade of daylight, so both come down to material choices and fabrication discipline rather than the rendering.
We work for hospitals, school districts, retail developers, municipalities, and industrial clients across Ohio, western Pennsylvania, eastern Indiana and northern Kentucky. About two thirds of a typical year is repeat business or referral from a previous project, which is the number we watch most closely.

Building identification, monuments, pylons and dimensional letters, engineered to the wind loads and setbacks your jurisdiction enforces.
Wayfinding Systems
Interior and exterior programmes built on a nomenclature study first, hardware second. Modular panels so a department rename is not a re-fabrication.
Channel Letters & Storefront
Front-lit, back-lit and halo-lit letter sets, raceway or flush mounted, built to UL 48 in our own shop and delivered wired and ready.
ADA Interior Signage
Room identification with raised copy and Grade 2 Braille that passes inspection the first time, in finishes that match the interior package.
Vehicle Graphics
Partial and full wraps for service fleets, cut and installed on cast vinyl with a seven-year outdoor rating.
Survey & Permitting
We measure the site and take the drawings through zoning and permit review ourselves. Landlord design-guideline packages included.

Fabrication happens in Marren: aluminium brake and shear work, CNC routing, welding, acrylic forming, paint booth, vinyl and digital print, and an electrical bench where every illuminated cabinet is wired and burned in before it leaves. Because the metal shop and the paint booth are forty feet apart, a colour that comes back wrong gets fixed the same week instead of the next month.
